Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu airport and you will be transferred to the Bioroling Monastery guest house by one of our representatives. Welcome dinner at one of the typical Nepali restaurants in Thamel.
Overnight: Bioroling Monastery guest house.
Day 02 : Bhaktapur and Kathmandu (1334m): Today, you will be escorted by our experienced city tour guide as we travel approximately one hour by bus/van to visit Bhaktapur, the oldest, ancient city and previous capital city of Kathmandu Valley. Kathmandu Valley used to be one kingdom itself and later became three different kingdoms, until one of the kings unified the country. We will visit four different squares in this city: Durbar Square (palace square), Tamaudi Square (public square), Pottery Square and Dattatre Square.
After lunch we will return Kathmandu where you will have the afternoon free for sightseeing and shopping.

Day 03 : Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m); Trek to Astham: We will have a short scenic flight to Pokhara and then a short drive to Milanchok. Our short trek to Astham starts from Milanchok. We will have a short introduction with our host (Adhikari) family once we get to their home (Astham) and observe their daily chores: farming; gardening; cooking and taking care of their cattle. We will have traditional Nepali food (Daal Bhat) for dinner with the whole Adhikari family in their typical Nepali kitchen.

Day 04 : Astham to Sedi Bagar; Trek to Thapa family home: After our short hike back to Milanchok, we will drive to Sedi Bagar. Then we will have a short hike for 30 minutes to our new home for the next three nights. We will have an introduction with our new host (Thapa) family then settle down in their beautiful home which is combination of ancient and modern designs. They own four separate buildings which are completely different from each other. We will be staying in a round building, which is a symbol of an energy saver according to ancient spiritual view.

Day 05 : Pokhara (820m): In the morning, we will visit Devis Falls (the waterfall goes into a very deep and narrow canal), Guptesowri Cave (a very attractive natural cave) and Fewa Lake (second largest lake in Nepal, 4.5 km long) which are the main tourist attractions in Pokhara.

Day 06 : Sarangkot (1592m): Today, we will have exciting uphill trek to Sarangkot in the morning. The view from Sarangkot is superb. You will be able to see several different peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, including the two highest peaks in the world,-Annapurna I (8091m) and Dhaulagiri (8167m).

Day 07 : Flight Pokhara to Kathmandu (1334m): During your short morning flight you will enjoy the panoramic views of the Himalayas again and be able to take some spectacular pictures.

Day 08 : Kathmandu: In the morning we will visit Kopan Monastery, the first monastery to start teaching Buddhist meditation in English for foreigners in Nepal. In the afternoon we will visit Patan, a true open air museum with its pagodas, temples, and monasteries.

Day 09 : Transfer to the airport and departure
